Research Theme
  • Research on Thermoplastic Composite Forming Processes
  • Research on Environmentally Friendly Composite Materials
  • Non-destructive Evaluation of Metal–Resin Joints
Explanation of the research

I am engaged in the research and development of cryogenic hydrogen fuel tanks using automated tape placement of thermoplastic CFRP. In addition, I am working on the development of environmentally friendly composite molding technologies that utilize natural fillers. Furthermore, I conduct research on the direct joining of metals and polymers, where non-destructive evaluation techniques such as X-ray CT image analysis are applied to quantify the interfacial state and contribute to the design of reliable joints.
