2019.04.04 金沢工業大学COI SDGs動画を公開しました。

この度「革新材料による次世代インフラシステムの構築拠点」としてSDGsへの取組み紹介動画が完成いたしました。動画は日本語と英語でそれぞれサマリーバージョン、フルバージョンを公開しています。

【説明】炭素繊維複合材料は、鉄より軽くて強く、錆びない材料で、この特徴を活かした大型構造物の製作が可能です。
金沢工業大学ＣＯＩでは、熱可塑性樹脂を活用した炭素繊維複合材料で、大きな部材を高速で連続して大量に作り出す技術の開発に取り組んでいます。低コストで加工しやすい今までにない製品をインフラとして生み出し、地球規模で安全・安心な社会を実現します。

【Description】Carbon fiber composite materials are lighter and stronger than iron, and corrosion free. By utilizing these great features, manufacturing large-sized structures becomes possible. KIT-COI ( https://icc-kit.jp/coi ) has been working on the development of high productivity technology of thermoplastic composites to produce large parts continuously in large quantities at high speed. We will create new products with excellent processability at low cost and by applying them into infrastructure, we will realize a safe and secure society on a global scale.
